Station History

    The Oasis was a Christian Contempoary station owned by Millcreek Broadcasting and operated by Simmons Media.  The music format featured top Christian artists, with an LDS flavor, which often featured top LDS artists.  

    On January 1, 2008 the station went off-air.  The web site says "Simmons Media regrets that our lease with the company that owns KOAY, Millcreek Broadcasting who is in bankruptcy, was terminated by a court on their behalf.  Thanks for your previous support and listening to 97.5 The Oasis."

    From 2005 -to- 2006 the station had a talk format featuring former KALL 910 morning man Tom Barbari.
