Station History La Magia is Utah's second all-Spanish FM station. Magia offers a more contemporary mix of music than traditional regional mexican formatted stations that can be heard on AM. The story behind Magia's tower site is interesting. The tower for 106.1 FM was originally licenced for the city of Evanston, WY. Today it's physical tower is in the high uintahs, with booster signals in Ogden, Provo, and Salt Lake. It's not the only station, with such an odd configuration. Both KYMV "Movin" and KJQN "Jack" are at the same site. |
