UPDATED ABOVE 12/03/01 SIMMONS - KJQ is still simulcasting KQMB - (Star 102) 11/13/01 SIMMONS - The new 100.7 FM is simulcasting KQMB (Star-102.7). The signal was off on Monday, but returned today. A "Simmons Insider" has informed UTRADIOGUIDE.COM that KQJN (Moniker: "KJQ") will be Alternative geared to either a younger or older audience than X-96's (KXRK 96.3) current format. It is likely that X96 will either skew to a younger or older audience also, to compliment the station. KXRK's PD is also involved. No world yet on the format of KPKK 101.5 - another station that Simmon's Media won in the FCC auction. |
